Katrina J. Young

Katrina J. Young is the Zoning Administration Planning Coordinator for the City of Charlotte Planning Department She holds a Bachelor of Art Mass Communications Degree (BA) from Clark Atlanta University and a Master's of Public Administration (MPA) Degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is certified by NCAZO as a Zoning Official, the American Association of Code Enforcement (AACE) as a zoning enforcement officer and the International Conference of Building Officials (ICBO) as a zoning inspector.

Mrs. Young serves on the Board of Directors for Jacob's Ladder Job Center, Inc. She is the current President of Deltas of Charlotte, Inc. which is the foundation organization of the Charlotte Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., President for the National Forum of Black Public Administrators and as a member of the Crown Jewels Chapter of the Links, Inc.

She is married to Lewis Young Sr. and has one son, Lewis Young, Jr.
