Jeff Jones
Jeff Jones is a Vice President at Bank of America. Jeff works as a Senior Manager in the Consumer Real Estate business, overseeing the execution of a portfolio of projects designed to improve the mortgage technology platform. He has worked at Bank of America since 2006.
Jeff was raised in Pittsburgh but came to North Carolina to attended Wake Forest University. After graduation he moved to Charlotte and began working for First Union (now Wachovia). During that time Jeff's Charlotte-based civic activity began as a tutor at Winding Springs Elementary and an occasional Habitat for Humanity volunteer.
In 2000 he entered the MBA program at The University of Texas at Austin. After graduation Jeff accepted a job in Boston, MA with Eagle Investment Systems. In 2003 Jeff returned to Charlotte to work for Exervio Consulting, a Charlotte-based management consulting firm.
During Jeff's tenure at Exervio he became involved with SEED Charlotte, a Foundation for the Carolina’s impact fund. His SEED team selected Jacob's Ladder as its grant recipient, which began Jeff’s involvement with the organization. He volunteered in various capacities during 2005 and joined the Board of Directors in 2006. Jeff chaired the Fundraising Committee in 2006 and currently co-chairs the Governance Committee.
Jeff and his wife, Tracey, have two children, Sarah and Sophie. They are members at Sardis Presbyterian Church. Jeff is an avid golfer and reader and a sports junkie who closely follows Wake Forest and all things Pittsburgh.
