Foundation For The Carolinas Front Porch Grant
awards $1,900
to fund
Takin' It The Streets.
Takin' It To The Streets matches volunteers
one-on-one with individual clients. These volunteers will shadow their
partner during his/her daily routine to find employment, navigate the
complex system of social services, and rely on public transportation to
reach our destinations. Please email Sheena Bossie to learn more about
and/or volunteer for this exciting new project.
- Sisters of Mercy Foundation donates $34,000 to fund program assistant position, March 2008
- Skylark Foundation donates $7,500 January 4, 2008 to fund in-depth outcomes training designed to help Jacob's Ladder provide more strategic programming.
- Myers Park United Methodist Church donates $16,060 on December 19, 2007 for technology improvements to help our clients bridge the digital divide.
- Anonymous donor donates $10,000 December 13, 2007 for unrestricted use.
