Homeless Awareness Walk

Jacob's Ladder Job Center, Inc. will field a team of walkers for this event to raise awareness of the formidable homeless community in Charlotte. Registration is $10.00 To join our team, contact Nathan Forb, Program Coordinator.

Wachovia Foundation awards $30,000
Wachovia Foundation awarded $30,000 for Client Incentive Program to encourage job acquisition and retention June 2010
- First Presbyterian Church in Charlotte awarded $10,000 for general operating funds February 2010
- Sisters of Mercy NC Foundation and Vision Charlotte: $60,000 to provide job readiness training through Vision Charlotte in the West Blvd corridor December 2009
- New Generation of African American Philanthrophists: $10,000 for upgraded classroom technology November 2009
- Crosland Foundation: $14,000 to support the HomeWORK! 2010 program November 2009
- Bank of America Foundation: $25,000 awarded to fund program
