Steppin' Out to Curb Unemployment

The third annual Steppin' Out was held October 18, 2007 at beautiful Whitehead Manor at 5901 Sardis Road. Music by the jazz trio The Brubakers, cuisine provided by Encore Catering, desserts by Epicurean Restaurant and a silent auction were highlights of this fun after-work "friend-raiser." Steppin' Out is designed to draw attention to the struggles of the unemployed in Charlotte.

Retired Bank of America Executive Bill Vandiver received the Dewey-Summers Award for Excellence in Community Service. The 2006 recipient was Mary Wilson of GreatThings!
